Our goal is to make intensely flavored wines that reflect and honor our unique growing situation at 2100’ elevation. Our vineyards mainly face south and are above the fog layer which results in vines bathed in sunshine from morning to evening throughout the growing season. These distinct growing conditions result in big red wines that are on the black-fruit side of the ripeness spectrum and loaded with varietal character and a nice amount of acidity on the finish.
Pride Mountain Vineyards is a 235-acre estate with a wooden-beamed, modest-sized winery that blends smoothly into its mountainous surroundings and California heritage.
Over 23,000 square feet of subterranean storage winds naturally under the hillside, opening out onto a terrace overlooking the vineyards and the scenic northern Napa Valley.

100% Viognier
This delightful wine possesses a classic Viognier character, with heady aromas of nectarine, peach, citrus, gardenia and orange blossoms. On the palate, the wine is lush, round and oily, with a bright acidity that brings balance and lingering richness to the wine.
This vibrant wine announces its presence with exuberance, expressing notes of green apple, Bartlett pear, peach, lilac and candied ginger. On the palate, it has plenty of bright acid, moderate viscosity and layers of fruit that precede a long, flavorful finish.
96% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon
A seamless Merlot packed full of dense flavor including black cherry, plum, milk chocolate, wild strawberry, and toasted almond. This wine is all about balanced intensity, with fruit and texture galore to mirror its firm but velvety mountain tannins.
Blue/black fruit notes ranging from plum to blackberry and mulberry are enhanced by complex notes of mint, brown sugar, freshly cut cedar and subtle truffle. The texture is rich and balanced, with an unctuousness in the mouth, balanced acidity and silky tannins throughout the middle and finish of the wine.
85% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon
This offering presents enticing flavors of dark boysenberry, bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee beans, rose petals, violets, and mint. The palate is rich and silky, with penetrating layers of fruit and spice notes and a long lingering finish.
93.6% Syrah, 6.4% Viognier
An aromatic wine with a rich, complex personality, this wine displays notes of blueberry, white pepper, sandalwood, orange peel, black olive, cumin, and bay laurel. The mouth feel is rich and dark, with layers of fruit flavor punctuated by an opulent mid-palate and a weighty texture.
