Our 80 acre Monticello Vineyards estate in the Napa Valley with vineyards and winery, tasting room, as well as culinary and hospitality facilities has been a destination for fine wine lovers and visitors from around the world since the 1980’s.

Monticello Vineyards is a family company dedicated to making wines that enrich life and express the individuality of our Napa Valley estate vineyards. Our Jefferson House, which is the central element in our logo, symbolizes the gracious and familial hospitality we extend to every employee and to every guest and sets the quality standard which future generations should aspire to preserve and enhance.

This wine displays a pale golden tone with brilliant clarity. I find expressive aromas of golden apple, fig, and ripe pear that integrate nicely with richer aromas of light caramel, hints of truffle, and toasted vanillin oak. On the palate, the wine has a beam of bright acidity, encompassed by a full bodied creamy texture and a lingering finish. 

76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot 

Dark, luscious aromas of boysenberry, blackberry, and anise with tones of lightly toasted oak and hints of vanilla explode from the glass. Enjoy with rich meat dishes, full-flavored cheeses or roasted eggplant. 

Dark berry fruit, hints of spice and light toasted oak, vanilla tones on the nose in this wine. On the palate the wine is very well balanced with depth on the mid-palate. The attack is big, supported by layers of flavors on the midpalate. Moderate tannins, deep underlying fruit character. The finish is big, and lingers with dark red berry fruit and toasted oak. 

 96% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc 

Bright red cherry and raspberry aromas, accompanied by dried floral tones intertwined with hints of mocha, vanilla, and cola. Wonderful round mid-palate that is well-balanced on a beam of acidity. The framework of gentle tannins leads into a lingering finish that is both full and bright. 

100% Pinot Noir

Ripe red berry flavors are balanced by light vanilla oak notes that transition into a deep finish of dark berry fruit. Pairs deliciously with traditional turkey and all the trimmings. This wine is also wonderful with ham, duck, goose or salmon. 

A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from our home estate. After each harvest is complete, the new wine is aged for six months in neutral French oak before being added to our perpetual cuvee (or solera) which contains a blend of vintages since the original cuvee began decades ago.  A crisp, fresh and appealing sparkling wine with a depth of character that will add sparkle and celebration to any dish.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of dark blackberry, cassis, hints of vanilla, and sweet undertones of French oak barrels.Robust tannins with a mid-palate that is deeply textured, full-bodied revealing complex layers and the finish is long and lingering.

84%Cabernet, 8% Cabernet Franc and 8% Merlot. Leather, licorice and lavender with aromas of dark black and blue berries, cassis, mocha, toasted vanilla oak and spice tones. On the palate the wine is richly textured, wonderfully balanced with dark ripe flavors, full body, and robust tannins. It has a long, lingering finish with a rich texture and slight grip.

 This wine has a classic herbal element of sage, sous-bois and mint, tucked within soft layers of integrated tannin and oak. Medium bodied, it shines in rich blue fruit and a lasting note of clove.

This wine displays expressive aromas of dark black and blue berries, cassis, mocha and hints of sweet toasted vanilla oak and spice tones. On the palate the wine is richly textured, wonderfully balanced from front to back with dark ripe flavors, full body, and robust tannins. The full finish goes on and on.
